Nii Kwartei Kojo Owoo is a dual-qualified lawyer, as a Solicitor in England and Wales and as a Solicitor and Barrister of the Supreme Court of Ghana. He is the Managing Partner at Africa Law Focus PRUC, where he brings together deep legal expertise and over a decade of experience in the banking sector, including retail banking, SME financing, and loan recoveries.
His legal practice spans a broad range of areas, including corporate and financial transactions, energy, and dispute resolution. He also gained international exposure at the Washington Lawyers’ Committee in Washington, D.C., where he provided pro bono legal support to low-income workers across multiple U.S. jurisdictions.
Mr. Owoo is particularly skilled in banking, finance, trust formation, and project risk management, combining legal insight with commercial understanding. He serves on several boards, including the Centre for Economic Research and Legal Advocacy and NKO Conglomerate.
He has passed the Solicitors Qualification Exams (LPC) and earned a Barrister-at-Law (BL) certificate from the Ghana School of Law. In addition, he holds a certificate in Managing Risk in Project Finance from the Ghana Banking College and has completed all professional certification courses of the Ghana Stock Exchange.
